Automatically Add Books to Calibre from Directory
Hi,
I love the forum and Calibre software! I use Calibre on a computer that I leave on all the time. However, I use a laptop for net surfing and often run across books I'd like to read. I would like to set up 2 folders on the Calibre computer (not the laptop):"Add2Calibre" and "Send2Kindle" and be able to drop files there. Calibre would then take added files to the folders and put them in my Calibre library automatically (and ideally download metadata and tag as unsorted) and if it was dropped into the "Send2Kindle" folder would then convert to MOBI and email to the Kindle. This would save the step of needing to remote to the Calibre computer to manually perform these steps. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Sorry if this is covered elsewhere! PD |
