PRS-300 Give us final answer how to convert PDF to PRS300

If I send ocr pdf directly to prs 300,
or convert pdf to epub with calibre..
It will all look messed up in the Screen of the Reader.

Is there any tool thats better than calibre and just makes eBooks a bit more readable and formatted right?

A couple of questions that will help with the answer:

- Which ebook format(s) do you want to put on your ereader?

- What is the source for the ebooks' text? Is it:

-- Text scanned from a printed page via OCR?

-- An ebook/text file/word processing file that you are converting into a different format (such as from RTF to EPUB or from plain text to PDF)?

- Do you want to be able to adjust the size of the text on your reader?

- What software do you want to use to load ebooks on your reader?

Be sure on the output from Calibre (when you convert) that you select "PRS-300". Be sure you have the latest Calibre, and you should have that option.... May not do you any good, but then again it might...

what works well for me is using soPDF. It will take the existing PDF file and remove the margins to fit the width or length of the screen. It works well for a 505 and 600 but have never tried it on a 300. Search the forum for soPDF and someone has created a GUI to make conversion easy.
