silk browser running on kobo vox

Just in time for oldyellr's request for alternate browser suggestions, you can now run the silk browser from the kindle fire on your (rooted) vox! Can't say I'm thrilled by it but it's cool it can be done.

Just finished installing it and went to a few sites. Meh. The bars at the top and bottom take up WAY too much screen real estate. But it was indeed neat to try.

It's weird...any screenshots I've seen of it running on the fire, the browser chrome takes up way less space. And the fire's resolution is the same as the vox. There must be something off about how it was ported.

I prefer opera mobile to dolphin. I don't consider silk on the vox to be anything other than a novelty.
