FONT SIZE vs PAGES

For all the discussion about page turns and battery life, I have taken a random book in my Kobo Library and noted font size and # of pages in a particular chapter.

Largest Font 62 pages

Large Font 49

Medium 41

Small 31

Smallest 26

Font size will drive the number of times that you activate a page turn and obviously affect battery life.

It should be noted that a 'unit page' seems to be based on a rough character count metric. So the above ratios will vary depending on your book.

I agree, it was a random chapter of one book but the point of the post was font size can have pretty signicant impact on page turns. I could have checked out other books but I suspect the relative relationship of font size to pages would still be in the same ball park.
