Greeting to everyone from Australia. Joined a few days ago but waited to say hello until my Kindle 3G arrived. Read my first Robert Silverberg short story and looking forward to Riders of the Purple Sage by Zane Grey. I intend to enjoy the experience

I'll say hello from Australia too, having just joined today.

I've been reading ebooks on my netbook for a couple of years now, although it's ever a dilemma for me since I don't like DRM at all, let alone inflated prices for backlist reissues. It has given me a chance to rediscover out of copyright classics, and the short stories of Kristine Kathryn Rusch.

Hi Tom and Curzon, welcome to MR from the Netherlands. Have you seen that we have a lot of free, good formatted, classic ebooks on MR. Also you might want to take a look on the wiki (top of the page) to look for further free ebooks. For fantasy, Baen is a good source, where they often give away the first book of a fantasy-serial.
