Mark 5 is for Aura too, right? Version 3.13.1 only mentions Aura H2O in first post.

Yes, Mark 5 includes the Aura. But, if you read the description and the various posts about this, you will see it has been released by Kobo in Japan only and for the Aura H2O and Glo only. Anyone else who uses it, uses it at their own risk.

Ok. I've put the AuraHD and Aura back on the 3.13.1 listings.

There are a few device related functions, like power management that might be effected by a FW update, if so you may have to reinstall/update Koreader, once any changes to koreader ( to adapt to the new FW) are released. The majority of Koreader's functioning would be unaffected by a FW update. Arguing for doing a FW update, would be keeping up with what those who do most of the work to keep things working, would most likely be using. a heated kidney shaped pool,
a microwave oven--don't watch the food cook, a Dyna-Gym--I'll personally demonstrate it in the privacy of your own home, a king-size Titanic unsinkable Molly Brown waterbed with polybendum, a foolproof plan and an airtight alibi, real simulated Indian jewelry, a Gucci shoetree, a year's supply of antibiotics, a personally autographed picture of Randy Mantooth and Bob Dylan's new unlisted phone number, a beautifully restored 3rd Reich swizzle stick, Rosemary's baby, a dream date in kneepads with Paul Williams, a new Matador, a new mastodon, a Maverick, a Mustang, a Montego, a Merc Montclair, a Mark IV, a meteor, a Mercedes, an MG, or a Malibu, a Mort Moriarty, a Maserati, a Mac truck, a Mazda, a new Monza, or a moped, a Winnebago--Hell, a herd of Winnebago's we're giving 'em away, or how about a McCulloch chainsaw, a Las Vegas wedding, a Mexican divorce, a solid gold Kama Sutra coffee pot, or a baby's arm holding an apple? |

You forgot about the case of Turtle Wax and the year's supply of Rice-a-Roni, the San Francisco treat.

And finally, you get a new set of numbers when you look up what firmware version you have.

You get the warm feeling of satisfaction from the employees that you keep employed by updating your device and buying the next iteration.
