Too many things to count. Social media (I do have a Facebook account, but it mostly languishes unused), selfies, games, dedicated devices and systems for listening music (my laptop or tablet is enough), dedicated TV devices (again, I prefer my laptop or tablet), cars, most of the products of cosmetic industry, expensive clothes and footwear, all kinds of dresses and skirts, perfumes, traveling (I'm too lazy), gyms (the same), and so on and so forth.

Make-up. I touch my face too much for it to stay in place and wearing foundation makes my skin break out. The only make-up I occasionally wear is Lush's mascara. It stays put, removes easily, doesn't make you eyelashes hard and you can decide what look you want (one layer is subtle, more layers is bold).

Smart phones.
I still only have a pay as you go dumb phone. Someone who wants me can call or drop me a text, although if it's the latter they'll get only a brief response. No inane back and forth. I don't need to be online all the time and the cost of smart phone + data plan seems like insanity to me. The very rare occasions when it would be truly helpful to be able to go online couldn't begin to offset that outlay. And how often am I in a situation where I couldn't find a hotspot if I wanted one? And if I needed to bolster my stand there are all those people who are so wrapped up in their phones that they aren't in the moment. Talk about a horrible example. Spectator sports. I can bear to watch some things as a social event, but following a team/player? Watching every week? Not for me.

The main reason I finally got a smartphone a couple years ago is to have access to email anytime, anywhere. Once I got it I did find myself using it for some other things, but I am still not one of those people glued to my phone. I have eaten in a restaurant with someone who was constantly checking their phone and it was incredibly annoying. Fortunately there was a third person there so we could talk to each other and gripe about the phone user |

Music. I don't understand why so many people seem to need to have earphones in listening to music all the time.
