New Kindle Game App - Checkers ($0.99)

FYI, here's a new game app for the Kindle:

Checkers (A Classic Game for Kindle) by A Gamz is $0.99

Quote:
Product Description
The classic board game of checkers is now available on Kindle.

Choose whether you wish to play against Kindle with up to ten levels of difficulty, or against a friend with Pass 'n' Play mode. You can customize the game with a variety of gameplay options including "Forced Jump" mode, which requires you to jump if you can, and a "Relaxed" mode which does not force you to make a jump. In addition, "Tournament" mode offers a different challenge by randomizing the first three starting moves, leaving you with a different game every time.

Stuck? You can ask for a hint on your next best move or look for pieces with letters to see your options for legal plays. And if all else fails, just undo your last move (or moves) - including all the way back to the beginning of the game if you wish.

Enjoy the classic board game of Checkers on the go!

Many thanks for the mention!

We have more information about the game at our web page, www.agamz.com/checkers and would love to answer any questions.

I was wondering when someone would come out with Checkers for Kindle. I mean there is Chess and Tic Tac Toe so Checkers had to be coming. I bought a copy and have had a good game vs. the Kindle already.

@crich70 - Glad to hear it! We put a lot of work into making it super easy to play (with minimal keystrokes to avoid a lot of moving around), as well as good for beginners with relaxed rules - e.g. don't have to jump, "let me win" levels and "give me a hint".

It also plays a mean game if you crank up the levels. We licensed a world class engine from Martin Fierz -- who btw has a great Android checkers game.

If you think its worthy, we'd love a review at Amazon. It will help move things along

And if anyone is looking for more info, we also have a short video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCW8XP-3cHY which has a little overview.

Many thanks!

You're quite welcome. And I have just submitted a review of the game.

No problem. Good work should be rewarded.
