K4 Mac or PC Kindle for PC update

I down loaded the Kindle for PC last week. I remember reading in its "Future Improvements" screen that the current version does not have highlight and notations but it is something they might add. Then a couple of days later, there it was. Marvelous! Has anyone tried Kindles Beta "Note Sharing" site yet? Or maybe they call it "Daily Refresh" I think the name is still morphing. It is pretty neat:

No, I have a back log of non kindle purchased books I've been reading on my Kindle device. I purchased these books before I was gifted the Kindle this past Dec. Since Amazon only syncs Amazon purchased books I've not made any use of their wireless social/backup features.

Kindle for PC was updated last night around midnight PDT, v1.2.0 Biggest new feature is Search while reading, most noticeable new feature is the color background for the Home page. Also added is an option to automatically backup your annotations to Amazon. Amazon doesn't appear to have announced it and their Kindle for PC Help Web pages are not updated to reflect these new features.

No collections and no font choices.
