Charlotte Brontė (1816-1855)
Emma: A fragment.

“Emma” was the last work of Charlotte Brontė, and remained unfinished at her death. Its two chapters tell of a mysterious and unhappy child at a boarding school.

The book was later continued and finished by Clare Boylan and released in 2003 under the title “Emma Brown.”
This work is assumed to be in the Life+70 public domain OR the copyright holder has given specific permission for distribution. Just an FYI to anyone looking in, Calibre does an excellent job of converting PRC books to epub.

Thank you for this, Patricia. I used calibre for the conversion (per dwanthy's suggestion) and it looks just perfect. Very nice work.

I haven't read any Bronte, though I intend to read Jane Eyre. This will make for a nice sample of her work.
