Any major issues with larger than 2GB SD cards?

I have read that the prs-505 can support larger cards, but are there any major issues with using one?

I used 8Gb MS Pro (Sandisk), 12Gb SD (don't remember the manufacturer) - no problem.

Just for fun, what is the time hit in scanning the card if someone isn't using PRS+?

I did get up to around 6K titles on one card (using around 4GB) and had to let it scan and rebuild database over night... at least 6+hours... that's one reason why I use PRS+ I now have 25K titles at around 8GB and it runs smooth as silk with card scan disabled... no wait at all...

That's the info the OP might benefit from, if he wants to go up to a larger card PRS+ installed with card scan disabled is a must.
