Hello Everyone!

My name is Kim and I am a writer who recently finished up my first short book entitled These are the Makings of Me...A Discovery of Me. It's just a simple book of poems that sum up my journey that got me to where I am today. It is self-published on Amazon.com for kindle users.

I am very excited about it because it took me a long time to gather the courage to get my work copyrighted and to publish. It also took a little push from friends lol. I'm excited and I welcome all feed back positive and negative!

I also recommend that you make an epub version available possibly on amazon or your own web site. Epub is the industry standard for all book readers and as such it makes your work available to the widest possible number of readers. To acomplish this download and install Calibre (which costs $0) which can translate your book to epub format then you will need to repost it in Amazon. Time investement = Fifteen minutes, return on investement = 100% opens your work up to the world rather than just Kindlers.

Hey Kim! Great to see that you published your book . It's a big step to publish. I did it a few months ago and I'm really glad I did...from what I've seen you can make a pretty decent living at it, if you are good and produce quality at quantity.
