Looking at cddb.com is not owned by gracenote.

Anyway It would be kind of cool to be able to poll there database.

Wishing and dreaming again

What good would it do you to be able to get CD information as referred content?

I guess what I'm asking is what good it would do you to get it stored to your handheld for future use. I would see CDDB as a more useful for a live wireless connection. For example, if I hear a CD name and want the track list, I could find it. However, it would be difficult to predict what CD's I will want to look up, and the entire database would almost certainly be storage space prohibitive.

Well I do access the web a lot via a html enabled hand held wireless device. Sorry for not clarifying myself and coming across as a smart ass.

I do hear your point, it would be rather usless on a palm. Storing for later use kinda defeats the purpose I would imagine.
