"They're Waiting" now at Smashwords -- short ghost story previously Kindle exclusive
Hi there. My ghost story, "They're Waiting," previously a Kindle exclusive is now available at Smashwords, and from there it'll find its way to B&N and Sony once Smashwords sends it along.
Description: As a child, Bill believed in ghosts, but put that behind him as he grew up. Sixty now and divorced, with his mother dead and his father dying in a nursing home, he's finding reason to believe in ghosts all over again. But his ghosts aren't the spirits of dead friends and relatives, and they're not the ghosts of people who used to live in his apartment building. His ghosts are something worse. They hate him, and all they want is to reach him either in this world or the next. They're waiting... Contemporary fantasy with a Twilight Zone feel. A short ghost story, DRM-free, about 3000 words. "They're Waiting" will be free again for two days, March 3 & 4, at the Amazon Kindle store. Give it a look if you get a chance and while the price is right. After March 4, it's back to 99 cents.
