Kindle Basic 2014 (KT2) Bricked

Hi there,
after Jailbreaking my KT2 it ended up being bricked.

When powering the device on it just shows either the image of the boy under the tree (no loading bar) or the battery symbol if the battery is discharged.

It's not being detected by the computer, except when connected while the battery is dead (battery symbol on screen).
However it does not show up as a removable device.

Just the device ended up bricked I had installed KTerm and tried to install coreutils by copying files to the /bin folder (I'm stupid, I know), after which button presses would register but not do anything.

What I've tried so far:
* Left the Kindle to discharge for 2 weeks
* Left the Kindle charging for 2 days
* Tried recovery via Kubrick (failed because the KT2 does not have a magic button)
* Held down the power button for 2 minutes (caused the screen to go white before showing the tree again)

I had Cowards Rescue Pack installed, but my Kindle never entered recovery mode.

My Kindle is a Kindle Basic 2014, AKA KT2.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks in advance!
