Does Amazon have Kindle Gift Cards?

Kobo and Google Play sells gift cards in retail stores.

But I have yet seen any Kindle cards in stores.

Does Amazon sell Kindle Gift Cards?

As far as I've been able to determine - no, they aren't selling gift cards in Canadian retail stores. You can buy gift cards directly from Amazon on-line. Of course, if you have no credit card or don't want to put it on-line, then that doesn't help. I assume you could just use a prepaid credit card, but there are activation fees and expiry dates to consider when going that route.

That's strange - Amazon gift cards are sold all over the place in the UK. My local supermarket sells them.

Same in the US. (grocery stores, drug stores, office supply stores like Staples & a bunch of other places)

I agree that it's strange. I can buy dozens of kinds of gifts cards at my local supermarket or drug store, but not Amazon cards.
I suppose we're too small a market for them to bother.

I get them online from Amazon because they don't sell them here.

It's sad that Canada always seem to get the good stuff last.

It's the same with the Google Play cards - we had to wait years for the cards to be sold in Canada.

I have bought close to hundred ebooks in the past 2-3 years from Amazon without credit card whatsoever, using just gift cards (bought online by other people) and my email address that would people use to send me either e-gift cards or ebooks and paperbooks directly.

There were no expiry dates for the remaining unspent amounts on e-gift cards.
