Unhappy Restoring Database Issue

After Upgrading Calibre it said my database (3000+ books) was corrupted. It has been restoring since Saturday (4 Days) My computer is working away. I have a backup that I tried and it gave the same corrupt message and wanted to restore.

Using 32% of my CPU and 3.5 MB of Memory

Laptop Spec
AMD A8-4500M
8GB Memory
Windows 10 64-Bit

are you using the restore database option on the Library icon?
Or did you try and re-add books ? Worse you pointed to the (same) old library (creating a circular path)

It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to restore 3000 books. It's likely something is interfering or the disk the library is on is failing.

You can always re-add the books which will preserve all metadata by creating a new library then right clicking the add books button, choosing add books from sub-folders, one book per fodler and selecting the previous library fodler.
