Calibre Download
Just downloaded Calibre from CNET. Got error message saying "installation package could not be open, contact application vendor to verify this is a valid Windows installer package". Downloaded twice same message.

Any ideas -please?

Yes!
1) Download from the official Calibre site (the Word Calibre in the Top level Calibre) forum description is the link. All other sites tend to be outdated.

2)don't use a download manager.

3) disable your anti-virus for the download from official site only

It took me forever to find what you were referring to.

@jm91744 here is the the Official Calibre site. Follow theducks info and you should be fine.
