In my glass: milk, skim.
As a tenured stay-at-home Dad, I have always done most of the cooking. Specialties include various stir-frys, a very nice chicken broccoli dijon, teriyaki salmon, soups, stews, etc. But my wife is out for the weekend picking up our daughter at college, and our son still has a couple of weeks, so it's just me. I'm having a couple of hot dogs with a cheap, yellow mustard-like condiment, on rye bread. |

Sometimes the very simple things are good too.
It was a beautiful day and I got most all the tools organized and in the right tool chest drawers. It will be so much easier to find things now. Someday I will get all the shelves in my garage organized too. Lawn is mowed and dinner is cooking. Time for a predinner snack: Apples, bananas, grapes (and M&M's). Water in my bottle. |

Now that is an excellent way to deal with some clouds.
Peet's Major Dickason's coffee. It's going to be a beautiful day here, with a high in the low 20's. And the tourists have descended on the Coast, but that's OK, it comes with summer. |

Bottle of Corona. Camping in Wales and been out to Caernarvon Castle for the day. Just got back, having cheered on the jousting knights, and sat outside in some not too bad weather.

Oolong in my cup. Coffee earlier and OJ. The In Laws are gone. We had a great 10 days with Grandma and Grandpa and a wonderful weekend with Lucas's cousins and Aunt and Uncle. Lucas was so tired that he had his bottle and went down for a nap with no crying.
I am going to make more tea and have the last sticky bun while enjoying the silence. |
