Buy.com selling leather Kindle 2 case for $10.99

Buy.com is selling this leather Kindle 2 case for $10.99, with free shipping. There's not that much information, except that it's made from "PU" leather, and the vendor and manufacturer are both listed as a company named "DrHotDeal," whose own web site seems to be here, but doesn't list the Kindle case.

The pictures show that it the front flips open up, not to the left like most Kindle covers, or a book. It's also not clear to me if you can fold the front all the way over the back.

PU leather is not leather, but a synthetic product, as in 'synthetic leather'..

Interesting. According to Wikipedia, PU leather, also known as bicast or bycast leather, is actual leather with a layer of polyurethane on the surface (presumably what the "PU" stands for.) It seems that although it contains actual leather, the leather is responsible for pretty much none of the properties of PU leather.

It doesn't seem all that surprising that a $10.99 Kindle case is made of rather inexpensive material.
