where can i get certain books from

Hi
I have a sony reader and have a number of books. Am looking for the Chalet School Books by Elinor m brent dyer, the Charlie Bone books by Jenny Nimmo and several other authors. Have tried the usual sites fictionwise etc with no luck. Can anyone direct me to a site where I might find them either free or to buy.

Elinor Bent Dyer died in 1969, so her work is in copyright everywhere. So you are most unlikely to get a legal free copy. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any of her work available in any ebook format.
(If you could manage to cultivate a taste for Angela Brazil, who also wrote schoolgirl novels with a boarding-school setting, then you will find some free books at Project Gutenberg.)

You could get cheap copies of Chalet School books on Ebay Global. I myself have purchased over 12 books over Ebay Global.
