Hmm when I turned Tidy off, it still changes the htm. I noticed it changed the body tag into body style=""
Is this by design?

Some (very) minor modifications are still made. For various technical reasons, that's unavoidable.

Valloric - many many thanks for the tidy fix!!! With the option to turn off 'tidy', my major (only?) problem with Sigil has been eliminated. It's really a great program.

Is combining multiple classes into a single tag one of those "technical reasons"?

E.g.:

Code:
<div class="poem">
<div class="stanza">
....
to

Code:
<div class="poem stanza">
Poetry is always a PITA without any help from TIDY!!
