epubs nur aus Bilddateien?

Hi!

Hat schon mal jemand damit experimentiert z.B. einen Comic in epub umzuformatieren?

Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass es aufgrund der 300 KB-Grenze nur Sinn macht, wenn mal jedes einzelne jpg als Kapitel definiert.
Wichtiger wäre für mich noch die Skalierung/Darstellung. Mobipocket bricht ja jede Bilddatei auf maximal 64 KB herunter, wasComics in prc ziemlich witzlos macht.

Wenn das irgendwie funktioniert, würde ich mal an einem sw-Comic als epub arbeiten. Wäre mal wieder ganz was anderes.

@Josch: Wenn man einfach ein HTML mit einer Folge von <img>-Tags für das Comic erstellt und für die <img>-Tags den Stil page-break-before:always; bzw. page-break-after:always; verwendet, dann sollte Calibre meines Wissens pro Bild eine Aufteilung vornehmen.

Es tut mir leid das ich noch nichts von mir habe hören lassen. Bin im Moment ziemlich im Stress.
Meine bisherigen Versuche sehen eigentlich nicht schlecht aus. Weiß jemand wie ich die Bilder in der html taggen muss, so dass sie sich automatisch der Bildschirmgröße anpassen. Das wäre sehr nützlich.

@ netseeker: Du bist doch Informatiker, oder? Es müsste doch eigentlich möglich sein ein einfaches command-line Programm zu schreiben, das einem alle Bilder aus einem Ordner in eine funktionierende html bzw. epub Datei schreibt. Man könnte das ganze dann ganz leicht automatisieren.

Ich bin zwar nicht gefragt worden, aber ja, das ist keine große Schwierigkeit - allerdings würde ich die Bilder vorher auch per commandlinetool für den Reader vorbereiten (Größe, Schärfe, Farbtiefe). Das geht mit Programmen wie IrfanView ganz einfach.
Wenn der reader nicht jedes Bild einzeln herunterrechnen muß geht das Darstellen schneller und kostet weniger Strom.

Das ist eine tolle Idee. Ich habe auch schon darüber nachgedacht wie man die Bilder auf die richtige Größe bekommt. Leider bin ich im Programmieren ein totaler Noob.

Ok, einfach keine Stile im HTML definieren, die Bilder in <div>-Tags einschließen und die Calibre-Einstellungen wie in den Screenshots zu sehen vornehmen. Dann funktioniert es...

PS: Die Bilder sind wirklich gaaanz große Kunst...

Das hört sich nach einer leichten Aufgabe an. Mittels ImageMagick oder was Ähnlichem könnte man die Bilder auch gleich richtig verkleinern. Bei mir läßt es die Zeit momentan nicht zu aber wenn dass noch ein paar Leute mehr wollen, würde ich - sobald es geht - dafür was basteln.

Hier ist ein kleines batch-script ohne viel Firlefanz, sollte den Ansprüchen aber genügen.

Kopier es in den Ordner mit den Bildern und führ es aus der Eingabeaufforderung aus.
Als Argumente akzeptiert es das Bildformat (bmp/jpg/gif/png) und optional den Titel der HTML-Datei.

Es erstellt dann eine Datei "liste.html" mit einer Liste aller Bilder, eingeschlossen in DIV-container - danach geht's weiter bei #10 (netseekers post)
