I was just doing some of my periodic random searches on Amazon, and I notice that many of the Campion books are now available on the UK Kindle store from Vintage. Not all of them, but hopefully the rest are in the process of being released.

I had to flip through and start a few and found that I was continuing to read the one I was on, so decided to just keep reading. The Delphi Agenda by Rob Swigart.
Spoiler:
I almost didn't start it, due to the beginning, but I kept reading and found that I was still reading instead of looking for another book. I am about 30% in to the book and find it really interesting. I do want to find out what happens and I like all the extra bits of information. This is not a literary masterpiece, but it is a fun read, so far. |

Finished 'Terra Amata', by J.M.G. Le Clezio, a fairly recent winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature.
I'm now starting 'The Ghost Writer,' by John Harwood. Don |

I also meant to add that I just now finished a wonderful read by Jeff Strand - "Stalking You Now."
This is a novella, but it's one of the fastest reads you'll ever encounter - and it's a FUN read. I highly recommend this as an excellent psychological-horror/suspense story. Don Last edited by Dr. Drib; 05-08-2013 at 07:40 PM. |

Last night I finished Great North Road and it was very good. Highly recommended. It's a big one, but very well worth the read.
Now onto a book I've put off while reading Graet North Road. I am now reading Star Trek: The Original Series: The Weight of the World by Greg Cox. Quote:

I'm about 75% of the way through Rose Garden by Susanna Kearsley. I'd describe it as a romance that is partially set during the Jacobite Risings and modern times. The book does a nice job evoking its Cornwall setting. My description doesn't do the book justice. |

I've just started The Iliad by Homer. Travelling through Greece and seeing so many ancient temples made me think that I ought to read that and The Odyssey. It might take a couple of years though, very hard going!

Just finished Time After Time by Kate Atkinson (recommended by @poohbear_nc, if my memory serves), a solid 5 star read. A rather different take on time travel, beautifully crafted.
Now moved onto something grittier and darker, Sandman Slim, a recommendation by @CWatkinsNash I believe. |

Just started Princeps Fury, the 5th book in the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher. Definitely one my favourite fantasy series.

Currently reading a classic: Starman Jones, by Robert Heinlein. Some of the science shows it's age, obviously, but it's still an excellent story. And an enjoyable read.
Meanwhile, I've abandoned Invasion: Book One of the Secret World Chronicles. What a complete and total waste of electrons. ALL too obviously a book written and conceived by a committee, and not a very well disciplined one. That's one series I won't be bothering with again. |
