OK, Ill try that if I can. I've never done any TCL/TK things, not sure what to rip from debian or build? any general pointers would be helpful as a minimum to get programs/scripts?? to work?

Honestly I totally suck at TCL/TK.

every time I try to run something in it I get warnings that it is the wrong version by 0.001 or something. Got tired of trying to hack around it.

baf seems to know a lot about it.

Unfortunately this is not true.
I actually needed it for expect in eboard package, so I built it. That is where my knowledge ends.
For eboard package I stripped down everything not needed. Here is full tcl package. I hope you will find it useful.
