Ok... two things (yes I know this is the joke thread)

1. Are you using IE7? IE10 loads and is ready faster than the current version of FireFox... Chrome beats them both by about a second.

2. You can REMOVE the IE shortcut from your desktop/menu... and if your not using XP, your not right!!! You can totally uninstall IE. (ok, not totally, but it will no longer be a user launchable app.)

The entire Windows experience is faster than it once was. From boot up to Internet, my Windows 8 is much faster than the Vista I formerly ran on the same machine.

I recently switched to Windows 7, having stuck by WinXP all these years. I'm amazed at how much faster it is. And so far, all my old programs run with just one or two minor exceptions. And I could even get them to run if I wanted to do the emulation.

An engineer, mathematician, and a statistician are out hunting with bows and arrows in the woods when they spot a deer. Deciding that they don't want to scare the deer off by all attacking at once, they decide to take turns. The mathematician goes first; he estimates the distance and the velocity of the arrow, fires at the correct angle, and falls short by 10 feet because of air resistance and mass. Then the engineer; he considers the wind resistance, mass of the arrow, movement of the target, and fires the arrow, but lands 10 feet too far because of an incorrect calculation.

The statistician, ecstatic, jumps in the air and exclaims "WE GOT 'IM!"
