$257 for Sony PRS-505 at Datavis.com

Best price I found for Sony PRS-505 was at Datavis.com. It's listed at $299, but click a "Get the Best Price" link, and it goes down to $269. Google for a coupon code for another $20 off, and with shipping it's $257. They have all three colors, although some here have said that the blue makes you smarter!

J&R often has it for around this price (I think last I looked, when I was going to replace my PRS505 it was on sale at 270,and I think I originally bought it for about 275 on sale late winter/early spring 2008).Datavision is a great store-its also worth looking on eBay (they have an eBay store)-as sometimes the prices there are lower than retail as well.

... Plus you'll have to pay VAT and (perhaps) import tax on it when it arrives.

Do you have a Borders? I bought mine in Dec for $259 (in the States) at Border Book Store. I'm not sure if you have it in Europe though

No I'm afraid we haven't got a Borders in Europe. I've scanned the web for informations and it seems to me that the cheapest (and practically only) option I have is to buy it from Waterstones online (UK) for 224 £. Which is 30 £ more than just 2 months ago

Maybe sone French site has it - but unfortunately I don't read French.

I'll just have to wait...

We have Borders in Oz but they don't sell the 505. Or anything else useful. They were demonstrating a POD machine when I was there though.
