Removing Headers and Footers Here's What I Did

I ran across a PDF document that would not convert via MobiPocket converter because of the headers and/or footers. I have Office Word 2007, so I saved it to that. I see that the headers had a HTML link in them! That could possibly have been the problem. No matter, I still want to get rid of all the headers and footers. I Google it. It "says" I should be able to get rid of all the headers and footers in one fell swoop but I can't. I search a little more.

Ah! A Macro. Now on 2007 you have to hunt a little bit in order to be able to turn that on but it IS possible. It's easier in 2003 or under. Once you create the Macro - then click Run - and voilà - all your Headers and Footers are GONE!

Here's the Macro: Copy it exactly. When your Macro box opens up you will have some filled in stuff already once you have named your Macro - I named mine HeaderFooter and my Macro opened up with some things started to run a macro already pre filled in. Just delete it and paste the below in. Mine ran perfectly. Hope this helps.
