Best library for Kindle lending

I seem to recall that there are some libraries in the country which permit out of state people to register for ebook lending, and which have colossal libraries of ebooks. Does anyone know the name of such a library? My local library has some, but I suspect a larger library might have a better selection.

I am not sure which one you are thinking of. Maybe the Free Library of Philadelphia. They have a large collection. You can join if you are out of state but there is a fee.

the free library of philidelphia is awsome! and they will add any book you ask them to add that publishers have made available to libraries to lend (which is easy to find by searching for the book on search.overdrive.com & seeing if they have a "find at library" button for the US publisher)
