what to install

Hi! I would like to keep using my PE but lately many of my apps (copied from samsung phone to PE) stopped working. All i want is google apps, like appstore, i have a feeling that would solve the problem. i have a rooted PE running Ermine.
Which update is the most stable and convenient?
I have downloaded Allmine-Universal-0.5.zip from vldmr, and gapps-hdpi-2010111...zip
Should i go with these?

I have got no answer but no problem. I posted this because i was lazy/had no time to read all posts regarding this subject.
I found all necessary information to upgrade my EE with Allmine universal (0.5) thanks to vldmr

I'm glad you found your answers. I accept that not every app will work on my EE/PE, but enough do work that I can still happily use them.

I have been finding apps that, once updated, have stopped working so I have had to revert to old versions. But, overall, my PE still handles 100% of my needs! If you take your time to find good apps you can cover all your bases. Feel free to ask for app suggestions on here, as well.

Also, you may want to make the build.prop changes I suggest in my post here - https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=233685

Filark, you may want to give the jit change a go. I've had no issues on my PE and it feels snappier under a lot of high load scenarios (not to mention it gained on synthetic benchmarks)

Do the instructions for installing Allmine at bellybuttonporn also work for EE? It just references PE Jr there.

Instructions apply for EE too. But it only works if you go back to dingo first than Ermine than Allmine. I tried on top of rooted Ermine and i could not pass the begin screen, just like a few other people before me. So you can't do it the lazy way

But you have to use the universal 0.5 version!!!

Filark, I still use EE and PE happily indeed!

Enough working apps to find.
Most important is the interaction with the text on the ereader side. I'm deeply disappointed in all the new ereading devices.
