Great selection this month including the ones that didn't make it. I might prefer some to others, but I'd be happy with just about any of them winning. JSWolf, I know your nomination didn't get any support this month and I personally didn't support it because I don't see it as especially literary, but I just wanted to say I'm interested in it - I like reading about people who succeeded wildly and finding something out about them, and from what I've heard Jobs' story is an interesting one. paola, I was also interested in In Cold Blood and like you also haven't ever read it. Although I have seen a film called "Capote" about this period in his life - when he was writing and interviewing for the book. It was an interesting film. |
