Tablet als Ergänzung zu Amazons E-Book-Reader Kindle
"Firmenchef Jeff Bezos deutete zudem an, dass ein Tablet als Ergänzung zu Amazons E-Book-Reader Kindle dienen würde und nicht als Nachfolger."

Wie ist den die Ergänzung zu verstehen? Sollen die Kunden dann ihre Bücher abwechselnd auf dem Reader und dem Tablet lesen und immer zwei Geräte gleichzeitig mit sich rumschleifen?

Damit sind wohl andere Anwendungen gemeint die auf dem Kindle nicht so gut bis gar nicht laufen z.B. gute Spiele, Videos, Textverarbeitung, eMail-Client etc.. So nach dem Motto : Kindle + Kindle-Tablet und du brauchst keinen PC mehr.

Die Ergänzung bezieht sich schlicht auf die Produktpalette.

Ein Kindle-Tablet wird ein weiteres Produkt von Amazon sein, neben den eInk-Kindles. Es wird sie nicht ablösen. So wie beim nook und dem nook color.

Amazon hat mitbekommen, wie gut der nook color ankam. Also ist es nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis die Kindle-"Familie" um ein Tablet ergänzt wird. Mehr heißt das nicht.

Oder so. Kann mir nicht vorstellen das Amazon seinen Kindle mit einem Tablet Konkurrenz machen wird.

Auf der anderen Seite...wenn ich mir das Drama mit dem KDXG anschaue traue ich Amazon inzwischen alles zu.
