how to use calendar?
do i need to sign up with my google account? but everytime i do, it says "unable to open connection to server" error ?

I have mine set up with my google account, since I use google calenders.

I did that but my calendar doesn't update so I'm thinking I'm doing something wrong. I also can't get my shaw account to work at the moment but it doesn't seem to give me all the choices that everyone was seeing on the screen so I'll have to play with it some more.
