They got drunk.
That or they are visiting our garden -- we've got asters, rudbeckia, verbena bonariesis, Tagetes (french marigolds), sedums, echinacia (cone flowers, though they are ending), last of the sweet peas, clematis, penstemon, tobacco plants, vincas, roses, and several others that I can't remember the name of.... |

The downunderverse...our many palms are starting to flower, which seems to happen every couple of years (and drop some of their large leaves, and spike new ones, as they do start doing every spring). Our lillypillies are in flower, attracting all the birds. The dracaena trees have already had their brief modest flowering. The baby Tahitian and Kaffir Lime trees have small buds on them too.
