Yes, I have all three of those free Angry Birds games installed. They all run slow. Animation is 1 frame per second. Maybe 1.5.

It can't be just screen resolution that restrains performance so much. While the physical screen is physically larger than most displays, the actual pixel count isn't that much more than the larger phones.

Been a lurker until now, but like you happy users of a Pocket Edge, sad to hear some of the news here.

I am hoping you can help with a question: I am gussing many of you are using the EE, not the Pocket. Is the Ermine beta okay to use on the Pocket or is it EE specific?

There is a thread in the Ermine subform on experiences with the beta for gothh devices.

So far there are a couple issues, but right now I am still liking the beta.

I'm just updating to Ermine and I'm really thankful to Entourage for this BETA update !
One question. What means : Apps Tray – no longer swipe up, just tap ?

At the bottom of the LCD side is a stylized "X" which you currently need to drag upwards to reveal all the apps installed. Now, I guess, you just tap on the "X" icond to get the application list.

Even without the beta boris is on top of things :P

It now functions more like a separate window rather than a "tray".

Thanks Boris. Now if I can just find it. I see nowhere to opt in to anything beta. then again it doesn't show my device as registered either.

You may find it easier to use your eDGe. Run the Store app and click the "My Account" link at the bottom of the page. You may need to log in first, but then you'll see the beta message on your eDGe.

Apparently I have two accounts at the store. Once I got the right email I was good. Consider it downloaded and running pretty smoothly!

I installed Ermine on my EE but am not able to install any aps from amazon market place. Any suggestions?

What message are you seeing?

It just gives the message that application not installed. No specific error message. Is there a way to see the logs?

I don't know about logs. It could be the app needs a bit of hardware the eDGe doesn't have, like GPS or an accelerometer. You can try shutting down the eDGe and booting back up and try again to see if that works...
