netflix app question

I just registered my dad's new Kindle Fire. We put the netflix app on it and used my boyfriend's log on information to try it out. I can't figure out how to log out of my boyfriend's account. Is there something I am missing?

On mine, if I scroll all the way to the bottom, I see "Sign Out" That should do it.

The NF app should have already been preinstalled on your fire.

Wow. Mine came with Amazon Video preinstalled but NF was not available then. I had to root my Fire to get Netflix on. Now it seems they added NF to Android Appstore.

You should never have had to root to install Netflix, just sideload it if it isn't in the Amazon app store.

You have to go to the settings menu and on Netflix do "clear data". That's the Android way, if it differs on the fire please correct me.

Netflix and Hulu Plus were in the Amazon App store prior to the Fire being released. I installed both on day one.

Both have trial periods so no need to use someone else's account. Just sign up and get 30 day trial in Netflix and 7 day trial in Hulu.
