First Glimpse of Stephen King's "Under the Dome"

For all the King fans, this article (and video interview) from Galleycat should be of interest.

http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat...3640.asp?c=rss

Quote:
According to the Guardian, the book took 25-years to write, as King struggled with the idea of a town sealed inside a mysterious force filed. The book has over 100 characters, a sweeping story like his epic novel, "The Stand." In a video interview earlier this year, GalleyCat spoke with King about Amazon's Kindle 2
Also other details have been released to Stephen King's official website: http://www.stephenking.com/news.html

EDIT: here's the original blog posting from TOR that Galleycat links from in the article: http://www.tor.com/index.php?option=...=blog&id=21794

Interesting. I had thought when Amazon commissioned King to write a story for K2's release that they wanted it to be about the Kindle. In the video King says it was *his* idea to center the story around the Kindle.

Thanks for sharing this.

King lost my respect after he announced that The Dark Tower is going to be his last book.....but after that he kept on publishing and publishing again....if you say something, be a man and keep your word.
