Bookmark Question

Has anyone had this happen? I bookmark a page, and shutdown the reader. The next time I open the book. The page that shows as marked is in reality 3 or 4 pages back from where I stopped reading. At first I thought it was just me, but I have noticed this on several books. I'm just curious to see if anyone else has had this happen.

Interesting that you mention that. I'm having that problem with the book I'm reading now. It happens to be an ePub book from Project Gutenberg. Other books I've downloaded from the eDGe store haven't had these problems.

That's interesting. Mine have been epub bought from Sony's store, and downloaded from google.

I have the same problem. It opens 4-10 pages before the bookmark. (In my case it was Gutenberg epub). I also thought it was me, but thanks to this Forum I know now that my memory is okay.

Same issue always opens 2-5 pages before.

For the books that you are encountering these issues with, could you post the names, ISBNs, as well places you got the books.

ISBN 978-0-446-57320-7. The curse of the pharaaos by Elizabeth Peters is one book I noticed it happening in. Sony bookstore.

Tom Swift in the City of Gold from www.gutenberg.org/etext/4711 in EPUB, which they mark as (experimental), is one.

All the epubs from Gutenberg-project I have read so far, but they were free. Now it also happens to purchased book: ISBN 978 90 261 2634 5 Doodsimpel / Dead Simple from Bol.com.

I experienced this today on a book that I purchased from the enTourage store over the weekend:

Ervin Laszlo, "Science and the Akashic Field: An Integral Theory of Everything"
Identifier: 9781594779909 (not the ISBN, but this is the number that shows up under "Detailed Information")

Yes, I have seen this happen.
