problem with pdb file for the new firmware

Fortunately I did not read pdb much. A friend of mine asked about the reading of pdb files under the new firmware. I opened the pdb file coming with DR800SG. The pdb file now opens very very slowly, and the counting page... never stops. I tried to flip through the page, and the each page turn takes about 5s. That is to say, you cannot read a pdb file under the new firmware literally.

Confirmed. I tried the two pre-installed PDB files and same behavior. This might be another reason for the long indexing problem.

There are still some issues with PDB files that we're working on.
PDB is a legacy B&N format however and I would advice to steer away from it as much as possible. B&N is switching to a new EPUB format (which is fully supported in the 2.0 firmware). This will also enable the full book reading feature-set.

PDB files are not indexed for thumbnails/metadata.

Some people reported that these two pdb files cannot be read even in V1.
