Filter/search language of book?

I have a collection of ebooks in no less than 4 different language.
But I can't find a way to filter or search for the language of books, in order to only show books in one language.

There is no mention in the manual or faq. And there seems to be no metadata on language?
Any help here?

You can create custom columns to store the language.

It can't read the language-field out from the epub itself?

Calibre does not have a standard field for language, so no, it cannot import it from the epub.

Why don't you just use a tag? I have all my French books tagged and I saved a search for that tag so I can switch over to only looking at those if I want to.
