Internal memory on microSD ?

Hi all,

I want to know if the internal memory in Aura (not Aura HD) is on a microSD like on previous models ?
If anyone opened an Aura, could he explain how, step by step please ?

Thanks,
Mingyar.

I seem to remember internal pictures that showed a Sandisk chip mounted on the PCB board, so no internal uSD card.

Luck;
Ken

Going by the images on the FCC site, it would appear that answer is that the Aura does not have an internal uSD card.

See the images at: https://apps.fcc.gov/oetcf/eas/repor...c_id=NOIKBN514

Thanks for your answers.
I'd like the µSD for internal memory. It was useful to make a security backup.

Apologies - what about the new Aura HD (hardware "Mark 5")?
Does the new Aura HD use a removable microsd as its main drive?

There is no new "Aura HD". The new device is the "Aura". This is the only "Mark5" device. This is what the thread is about. From the FCC photos, it doesn't seem to have removable internal memory. But, I don't think I have heard of anyone opening one up and looking.

The Aura HD was released in April(?), uses the "Mark4" firmware and does have an internal micro SD card.
