http://www.ifixit.com/ is a great site for fixing electronic devices yourself. at the moment they don't have the kindle on there. hopefully if we all help out we can get a screen repair for the kindle on there if nothing else. check out the site it is very cool.

I've used it before to fix a few iPods. Very good site, but the parts are expensive. Look elsewhere like Amazon or Ebay for parts.
