He will eat chicken and the like but is much more picky about it. He has never turned down tofu. So part of my thought is having it in the fridge so on a night that he decides he doesn't want the chicken he can have something with protein in it other then milk.
We want to continue to present the meat, I know that it can take a multitude of tries before a child eats any given food, but have some thing else ready for him. Maybe the solution is to cook some tofu with the food as we prepare it and then save it for when he decides he doesn't want the chicken/beef/pork/fish. |

The sun glare reflected off all the snow through the windows is almost blinding! No telling what it will look like tomorrow, after the predicted ice, turning to sleet, turning to rain storm.
But right now I'm having my first mug of tea and contemplating the need for sunglasses in my living room. I don't want to give anyone the wrong impression. I quickly changed back to two shoes and then went outside to supervise the snow removal, so I was an integral part of the operation. In fact, they couldn't have done it without me! |

Phoenix Mountain Oolong. Though I'm going to have to abandon it to go see where the chickens have wandered off to. Sheesh, I thought they gave that up for the winter.

A massive mug of tea. Punjana brand today. Twinings 1706 blend is a bit too pricy. Great tasting strong tea for sensible money.

We have a new Kuerig at work so I combined a Newman's Own and a Dark Chocolate hot cocoa to make a nice mocha. Yummy.
Tea in a bit. |

This morning, a bit of Russian Caravan from Murchies. The smokiness from the Lapsang Souchong that is part of the blend goes nicely with the general reek of smoke around here as I finish off 8 Kg of dry cured bacon in the smoker.

Second mug of tea. Shovelling the new ice/sleet/snow that fell last night is going laughably slowly. It's remarkably heavy, so I'm just "nibbling" into it, a couple inches per shovel. And taking a break every few feet.
Besides, the pavement I clear today will freeze tonight, and then there's more snow in the forecast. Fortunately, I have more tea to fortify myself. |

Chocolate gourmet coffee that my Mom gave me. Trying to use it up. Suffering for it. (yeah, right).
