Now that is a good idea. I really wish a few authors would do that, although I suppose the worst of them like how their books sound, even if nobody else does.
I wonder if I should do that with my posts? I keep wanting to scream when I go back and discover I've used the same word twice in a short time -- worst of all, in a sentence. |

The best attitude I've found when critiquing my own books is not, "Does it sound right", because the answer will almost always be yes. Instead, A) will it sound right to others, and B) can I improve it. If A fails, B almost never does, because there's always something I can do to improve it somehow.
