Calibre and the Cool-ER ???
Hey all,
I just got a coolreader cool-er and installed calibre on kubuntu. When I start calibre and plug in the cool-er I get an message popup saying 'cool-er device detected' (or something like that) so it does understand which device I have. However I can't use the 'Send to device' option, that will just give me 'no device detected'. Save to disk does work though. Now I am confused :S Does it or does it not know what to do with the cool-er? Anything I can do to make it work like all the other devices that are listed by name in the welcome wizard? thanks! TW |

How did you install on Kubuntu (did you use the software center or download directly from the calibre website)?
What version are you using (listed on the bottom left)? Go to Preferences, Advanced and run "Debug device detection". Post the output. |

Will check the version and run the debug mode tomorrow, I'm not on my laptop right now :-) I will get back to you on this Thanks and have a nice evening :-) |
