If you lost your Ebook reader,...
Imagine you'd lose your ebook reader.
Which device would you buy? Would you rebuy your device or buy another one? |

I'd buy another Gen3 with no hesitation. For me there's nothing else on the market at the moment which comes close to it. If the BeBook were to improve its MobiPocket support drastically, then it might do.

I would probably choose between my existing Sony PRS-505 and the Cybook Gen3.
I really like my Sony but I would also like to try something new if an unfortunate consequence occured with my current device. |

I'd buy another Sony -- either the PRS-505, which I currently have and love, or the PRS-700, about which I have several qualms. I have been very happy with my Sony.

I'd be torn between another Kindle and a Sony, but only because the Kindle is slightly more expensive. I'd probably go with the Kindle though, because I find it incredibly comfortable and the pages more responsive than my Cybook was.

Probably buy another Cybook, (Considering the price ) but may consider getting a Bebook, if the Mobi support gets a little better.
On the other hand, if I had a little spare money I might be willing to get the Bebook anyway to be able to compare all three (Sony, Cybook & Bebook). |

I'd buy another Ebookwise 1150. I /really/ like it.

No. Despite how much I like my iLiad (now with the new battery) and the Cybook, if both broke, I would not re-buy them.
I still read more on my PDA (currently a Nokia N810) than I do on the others. And something better/cheaper is always right around the corner. |

I would be tempted by the new Sony. It really is lovely but I still like my Kindle more (especially now that I covered up all that white with a nifty skin). Dictionary lookup, Wikipedia search and the convenience of the Amazon store are big selling points to me. I also like the much-maligned big buttons. It's really comfortable to read. I also have a much better track record with Amazon customer service than I do with Sony.

I would buy another iPod Touch in a heartbeat. But I would not buy any more eBookwise readers

I have a PRS-500 that i love, but I am considering a PRS-505 because of epub support. I am not ready to move to the PRS-700 until i see it in use for awhile.

I'd buy another Kindle. All the reasons I bought it the first place are still valid even with the new changes to other readers now available. Ask me again in 6 months to a year (PlasticLogic, Kindle 2.0, iLiad1000SW).

Definitely another Kindle. Before joining this forum, I barely knew other readers existed. Its been fun comparing this one to that one, listening to all the pros and cons, but the Kindle is a perfect fit for me, exactly the way it is.
