Question Daily Weather Forecasts on Your Kindle?

Is there a way to get the daily weather forecasts in your area or wherever you are through the Kindle?

For some reason, some of the newspapers on the Kindle do not post the forecasts.

Sure there's various ways to do this.
For example with: http://weather.yahoo.com/
In my case, the place is Paris: http://weather.yahoo.com/forecast/FRXX0076.html
I can use the RSS feed if I click on : http://xml.weather.yahoo.com/forecastrss?p=FRXX0076&u=f

Then I can use Feedbooks to create a newspaper with various blogs that I read, and use this feed to get weather forecasts in it. Check: http://www.feedbooks.com/help/kindle#rss

Or I could use it directly on my Kindle: http://www.feedbooks.com/feed/6113.mobi

Hi.

I was looking for exactly same thing recently and came accross following service:

http://kindlews.com

When you register you can save your place and and it will show current weather condition and 2-day forecast. If you disable kindle's screensaver(described in their FAQ) you can put your kindle on the shelf and use it even as a real weather station replacement:-)

Go to:

http://mobile.srh.noaa.gov/port

Once you enter your location there, it will remember it and then you must make a bookmark for the Kindle browser.

Its provided free by the US government for telephones, pad devices and eReaders. It fits exactly on the 7" screen.

This sounds like something I would like to do, but I can't figure out how to get FeedBooks to create the "newspaper." Is this something that I have to join FeedBooks to do?

Maybe it's something they no longer do? The post you're responding to is over 3 years old.
