IQ IQ vs. Coby Kyros MID7015

I hate to come into the Pocketbook room pitching something else, but I felt compelled to tell potential shoppers about an alternative I found that I'd DEFINITELY recommend at least checking out before you settle on something.

While the IQ's got some good qualities, I stumbled on the comprable (7" resistive, Android) Coby Kyros MID7015, and based on the specs went ahead and bought one. For essentially the same price (IQ = $140, Coby = $150), I'm finding it vastly superior so far.

1 - the Coby is easier to handle. Lighter, with a less slippery grip.

2 - the screen is exponentially better looking. Clear, clean, sharp. Though they're comprable on responsiveness.

3 - I didn't have any problems playing my videos (your average AVI, 350MB / 45 minutes), while the IQ was stuttery and would've required me to convert anything I had.

4 - my wi-fi doesn't keep cutting in and out.

5 - USB port is also host capable.

6 - built in mic

There are other things that are less relevant to me, but still cool. The case it comes with is a 'leather' book style, that can flip around and work as an easel, there's a stylus tucked into the body in case you need/want it, the native UI isn't utterly goofy (so no need to waste app space on a new loader).

Hi brennivin. You mention that the usb is 'host capable, have you tried say an external keyboard? I have spend a couple of hours just looking at cases and stands for my IQ, nada nothing, a tablet with it's own case and stand sounds good to me.
