To understand the human race? I'd suggest a book explaining Buddha's teachings Also those aliens might profit from a bit of Enlightenment But if you want to leave out all the religious stuff I'd suggest a Lonely Planet "Earth Edition", so they can find out for themselves |

Principia Discordia, preferably the SJ Games edition that includes the lost 3rd Testament of the Bible (in scrambled form).

I've changed my mind. I would give them a full set of Terry Pratchett, but in return the aliens must give us a cure for alzheimers disease right away!

Perfect for an alien - but can't remember the name of the story
Ok: Need some help here ---
I remember a short story (or novelette) by Isaac Asimov, in which these aliens "kidnap" a man and a woman in order to study them. The two humans refuse to cooperate - to a certain degree - and the aliens decide to let the humans go before they abandon earth and the study of humans. As they are leaving, one of the aliens says (in effect) to the commanding alien: Look what they're doing now! At least, that's how I remember it. Can someone identify this for me? I think this would be a great gift to a group of aliens. Don |

Might as well play with their heads while they are around. ::zielperson:: |
