Are Kindle Basic cases compatible with older devices?
Hi everyone! First time posting.
I have a Kindle 8 (serial number G000 KA) and I want to buy a cover for it, but in my country I only seem to find cases for Kindle 10 and 11. I have found that dimensions are very similar, and I think I remember the Paperwhite covers were "backwards compatible" between 1, 2 and 3, but I am not finding anything regarding the Kindle basic specifically. Does anyone know if a Kindle 10 case will work on a Kindle 8? Thanks in advance! |

It won't fit. If it's like a flip cover, the curves of the device needs to be exact.
I suggest looking for those generic 6" kindle cases where the device is either strapped, or there's a sleeve inside. |
